This project consisted in improvement, extension, and rectification of the perimeter road at Atlanta’s Airport. In one of the segments, the new design called for a realignment which needed the construction of a 50- foot high retaining wall. Precision 2000, Inc. placed and compacted 60,000 CY of imported backfill. In some areas the steep slopes were built using a geo-grid as a measure to stabilize and reinforce the slopes.
